Wine Tour – Wednesday, July 10th
The Wine Tour will take place on Wednesday, July 10th. Boarding for the bus will commence at 8 AM in front of the DoubleTree Hotel. Our Valley Wine Tour package includes transportation via motor coach and tastings at three local wineries, with a light nibble provided at the third stop. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a diverse range of wineries: a small, family-run winery established in 1936, a medium-sized family winery that has been cultivating grapes for decades and recently began producing its own wines, and a large, internationally renowned port producer founded in 1946. This tour offers a comprehensive experience of the rich variety of wines and producers our great agricultural valley has to offer. We will return by 4:30 PM. Please dress comfortably—Fresno is known for its hot summers.

Be ready to gather around the piano and enjoy the musical talents of Van Kouzoujian as he entertains us.  Don’t be surprised if all our voices come out that night.

Business sessions are Friday and Saturday starting at 9 am.  If you are a Knight or a Daughter, please plan on attending your respective meetings.  This is the heart of the Grand Convocation, where we plan and organize our activities for the year.  Dress for the meetings is business, for men coats and ties are preferred.

Kef Night Dinner Dance – Friday, July 12th
We know how to get down to business and we know how to have some FUN!  And fun it will be on Friday night.  We will begin at 6:30 pm with a buffet dinner.  When the music starts, make sure you have your dancing shoes ready for the music of Richard Hagopian and his band.  We enjoy all types of music, but the traditional music that we line dance to still holds a special place in our hearts.  Tamzara, Halay, Sepastatsi Bar, nothing beats the sound of Richard’s oud as the band plays all of our favorite music.  Dress for the evening is business casual, dress nice but comfortable. Many of us will be in coat and tie if that gives a hint. The theme for the evening is “Light up the Night!”

Grand Banquet – Saturday, July 13th
The Grand Banquet is the culmination of the week’s activities. There are three great menu choices for that evening, Filet Mignon, Cedar Plank Salmon, or Eggplant Parmigiana (vegetarian), take your choice.  We will hear from our Avak Sbarabed and Avak Dirouhie that night along with this year’s Man and Woman of the Year.  Dress for the evening is formal, yes some of us will be in tux and others in suit and tie.  It’s a nice evening to dress up. The theme for the evening is “Armenians Light Up the World!”
