The Knights and Daughters of Vartan share the concern of helping to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
Early May the Knights and Daughters of Vartan collaborated with Fund of Armenian Relief (FAR) Ayo! Program through a $10,000 matching campaign, $5,000 of which was matching grant pledged by NAS Nigoghos and Mrs. Roset Atinizian. In just a week the needed funds were donated both individually and from chapters. Many Knights and Daughters responded and donated. Our support was assigned to go to Tavush region, which is one of the poorest regions and has the longest border with azeri. During next weeks with our donations Ayo distributed 400 packages to 400 families in Tavush region. Although the campaign is completed but donations still are welcome https://weareayo.org/home

The second project came from Gomidas lodge and Talar otyag based in San Diego, California. They are one of the youngest and smallest groups but certainly with a big heart. Mid May KOV/DOV San Diego chapter sent $500 donation to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia COVID19 fund to support front line health care workers.
